Noel Frame has served as the State Representative for the 36th District since January 2016. Noel is a planning and community engagement consultant who has applied her skill set across the non-profit, private, public and political sectors for the past 18 years. She is the Senior Associate/Operations Manager for BDS Planning & Urban Design, a small business located within the 36th District (Belltown), where she works with local municipalities and non-profits to translate authentic community engagement into lasting institutional change.
Noel has passionately pursued her love of civic engagement throughout her life and career, starting with attending college and graduate school in Washington, DC. From recruiting dynamic candidates to run for office to making civic life more appealing to youth to now serving in the state legislature, Noel has largely worked to effect change at the systems level.
Noel is originally from Battle Ground, Wash., where she grew up in a now 100-year-old farmhouse that sits on 10 acres of land. Noel recently purchased her first home in the Greenwood area of Seattle: a 1948 bungalow on a sixth of an acre of very fertile land! Proving she is really a farm girl at heart, home improvement and gardening have since become her main extra curricular activity.
